Bonbeach Pre-school is managed by the Bonbeach Primary School Council. We offer both 3 and 4 year old kindergarten programs.

4 Year Old Pre-school Enrolments

Eligibility

To be eligible to enrol in our 4 year old Pre-school program your child must turn 4 on or before 30^th April in the year they are attending the four year old program.

How to Enrol in 4 Year Old Pre-school

Bonbeach Pre-school’s 4 year old Pre-school program enrolments are managed through Kingston City Council’s Central Enrolment Scheme. To enrol in four year old Pre-school, complete and return a ‘Central Enrolment Scheme for Funded Kindergarten Application Form’ (see link below). This can be done online or in person. Children can be enrolled for four year old pre-school from 1^st May in the year prior to your child attending kindergarten. Enrolment forms are also available from council offices.

3 Year Old Pre-school Enrolments

Eligibility

To be eligible to enrol in our 3 year old Pre-school program your child must turn 3 on or before 1^st February in the year they are attending the 3 year old program. 

2019 Enrolments

Applications for the 2019 3 year old Pre-school program will open on Monday 5th March 2018. The 3 Year Old Expression of Interest Form for 2019 is available via the link below.

How to Enrol in 3 Year Old Pre-school

For 2019 enrolments the 3 year old Pre-school application form (see link below) together with a $10 non-refundable cash application fee will be accepted at the Bonbeach Primary School Office from Monday 5th March 2018. Applications must be received by the last day of term two, 29th June 2018 to be considered for first round offers.

How the Pre-school Allocates Places

Where more applications are received than places available then the following order is used to allocate places:

1. Children currently enrolled in the 3 year old Pre-school program that the teachers have approved to repeat 3 year old Pre-school. 

2. A sibling currently enrolled at Bonbeach Pre-school or Primary School. 

3. Children residing in Bonbeach, within a 2km radius*. 

4. All other applications received by 29th June 2018. 

5. Applications received after 29th June 2018, in date of receipt order.

The above priority is also used to form the waiting list if one is required.

*Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the changes to the Central Enrolment Scheme for 4 year old Pre-school as these may affect which Pre-school your child is likely to get allocated to the year they attend 4 year old Pre-school.

Letters of Offer

First round letters of offer will be sent out in July/August 2018, these letters will tell you how to accept a place in our 3 year old Pre-school program. It is important that you let the Pre-school know if your address changes or if you no longer require a place so we can offer the place to other families.
